Remembered the camera . . .

 There's an artist I admire
who says:

He is Brilliant.

I'm in-between.
Someday I'll be able to share all my stories with a pen.
Until then, I try to remember my teeny camera.

This hedge
 is surprising.
The design changes with the seasons
in mega colorful ways.

There's an Origami Exhibit going on at 'The Garden'.
I like this one:

Thank you for visiting!

Ink Trees

Plan to visit the Garden this week.
My favorite time is when it's just a 'regular' day.
No crowds, No fancy monetized events . . .
(Yes,  I'm a shy person.)
Anyway, It's almost Inktober
So, I decided to share a couple 'ink trees.'

There WOULD have only been two
BUT, i saw a movie about Bob Ross
and started painting 'happy ink trees.'

Heart of America

 Saw a teeny news clip
inviting citizens to travel to the center of our nation
-coming together to pray.-

 Here's my 'Urban Sketch'
of the chapel we'd find.

love & love,

On a mission . . .

Greetings from The Garden in July.

Isn't this stunning?

There are black & white photos
from another century
showing people standing on these.
Not me
Not ever

Back to the Garden . . .

 Now, where were we?

Everything is different.
So, how do we find ourselves again?

For me it's going to be "The Garden"

The facility is being remodeled.
What used to be the Main entrance and welcoming center has been torn out.
We get to make reservations.
I present my ticket, someone scans, makes happy talk and let's me in.
Children shout "Look!"
Grown-ups answer - "Yes!  Leave it there!"
Areas have been unlocked again.

Waaaaay back there - people are arriving.
I'll ask the teeny camera to zoom . . .

Gettin' Better

This place was worth finding.
It's a little park in Saint Louis County.
The kind people of  "Town & Country, MO."
purchased some old, original homes and moved them to this property
and created a lovely place for families to enjoy.

Here's my park partner.
We especially enjoy the trails.

Today the "teeny trails" have the promise of children playing.

Hello, Tom!
It's "Gettin' Better All The Time!"
The Beatles.

Digital Travel

 Many chums are "traveling" online
to keep up their urban sketching.

Well, why not?

Cook Station, MO

Gotta Renew The Habit . . .

Note to self:
carry the camera
use it.

Lately I drive a circular route.
One direction is business after business
looking pretty much the same

The other direction is super interesting.
There's a place I stop for coffee
 a park
I thought the pupster would enjoy.

This morning we headed out
with a short chore list and
an exploration of
It is marvelous!
The trail is only a mile around.
(We are accustomed to many miles at a time - but, this walk is really nice!)
There are horses, and kids and trees and a pond
and it wasn't packed because the morning was cold.

This is "Good Girl."
(Mom always tells people I am a "good girl"
she gives me "good girl cookies.")

We walked here.
It was great.
I want to go again.
Then we went to the car wash
I got to pick my own treat.
